Drug Crime Detective Oskari is the envy of his colleagues. His connections to underworld and informants is unrivaled. What they don't know is the mother of his child, Krista, is a drug addict who lives in that world. And now she's back in his life, shaking his home life on one hand, and offering new connections to knocking down the rise of drug imports. If only he could trust her.

Hooked follows filmmaker Glen Fulthorpe's raw exploration of his father's heroin addiction. Intercutting haunting archival footage with present-day encounters, Glen revisits a pivotal moment from 2006 when he filmed two young addicts, arranged by his father Steve. When Steve overdoses during filming, it sets off a chain of events that Glen grapples with for years. The documentary tracks Glen's journey as he reconnects with both addicts—one now in recovery, the other still struggling—while seeking answers about his father's addiction and death. Confronting his own battles with anger, forgiveness, and fatherhood, Glen offers an introspective look at addiction's far-reaching impact, generational trauma, and the path to healing.

A unique suspense film depicting a woman's unresolved feelings and grudges through the eyes of a crucian carp. A bucket of crucian carp was left at the home of Shiomura (Jun Inoue), a trading company employee, by someone. Shiomura looks into the fish's giddy eyes and recalls an affair he had with Tsuyuko (Naomi Oki), a woman at a small restaurant who used to be his mistress. She had a pet crucian carp, and the crucian carp always stared intently at their love affair, and it was the same eyes.

Chilly's nemesis as usual is Smedley who's a worker at the aquarium where the penguin is catching fish. Smedley tells him he's not allowed to do that but of course Chilly just does what he wants to which leads to another chase between him, Smedley, and a porpoise Smedley feeds.

When Hana Sikorova, mayor of a northern Bohemian village, stands up to a large coal mining concern that offers villagers large compensation in exchange for abandoning their houses built on land containing brown coal deposits, her fourteen year old daughter Misha disappears. The search for her daughter makes Hana suspicious of the whole community, after years of peaceful coexistence. Under the pressure of unfolding events, the community starts to fall apart and show its true face. Solving the mystery divides the story into several interweaving narratives that ultimately connect in unexpected ways.
